A picture can be like a window

... plays the flute!

Do you dare to stop? - about values

What's really important in life? To live, to feel alive? To make deliberate choices, not to be a victim of circumstances?

Many people thinks of themself as an object instead of being a subject in their own life, we are taught to be "me" istead of "I" and that's make a big difference!

My pictures shows what's important to me, what's in my soul. It's no coincidence that I'm drawn to open horizons; the feeling of space and free- dom, surroundings where the soul can rest for a while. Be let off irrelevant sounds, being completely present. That's what I'm longing for, that's true luxury for me.

To experience, take a break and be touched helps me to see what's important to me and what I value.

Sometimes I can see the pictures as windows to another world, even if much is well-known the feeling of another world and another time can sometimes
be striking.

I think a picture might have the function of both a window and a mirror. The picture
can act as a window to another world, you can also "look yourself" in a picture
and recognize yourself in what you see.

To me it's important that the pictures have soul, they are subjects for the
viewer to reflect upon.

A friend of mine wrote me these lines: "This summer I've come to understand
that I'm not immortal. That insight makes me want to know more about my-
self and what I shall do. What is the remains of my life about?"

What's really important in life?
